Hello again.
Today I want to share a card I made for a birthday party my boys attended over the weekend.
I have had this set for a while now, but had not inked it up. I just adore these little Dino's they are really fun to color.
I started with the panel on the base. I tried Laura Bassen's famous plaid stamping. I used Hawaiian shores, limeade ice and orange popsicle. I am in LOVE with this technique, you will be seeing more of it here for sure! (thanks Laura ;) )
(I would have preferred to not cover up so much of it, but I was in a hurry and did not have time to make another panel for the front. I still think it looks awesome though ;) )
I colored this little guy in with copic markers and added some wink of stella shimmer to it. I added a few enamel dots and it all came together quite nicely.
Thanks for stopping by.

Woodland wreath
Hi all.
I found some time to play with the Wplus9 woodland wreath set. I am in LOVE! I started with this simple creation:
I plan to use this a LOT in the next few days/weeks. So stay tuned.
I stamped the wreath with various shades of green ink. For the base, I added 2 strips of score tape to either side of a white card base and added Glitter Ritz in Bronze to it. I used a strip of SSS woodgrain card stock and adhered to that the wreath with foam tape.

Gold leaf feathers
Hi!
I am popping in today to share a card.
As I said in my previous post, I was so inspired by the pins from Caths pintrest boards, I had a bunch of cards going at the same time. With this one, I stamped the background with a Hero Arts stamp (swiss dots) using a glue pad and then rubbed the sheet of gold leaf over it. I don't think the glue pad is sticky enough in places so, some of it rubbed off, thus creating a more vintage, rusty look. (I liked it anyway). I die cut the Wplus9 feathers from wood veneer paper. For the back one I pressed the end into the glue pad and rubbed the gold leaf on to it, and for the front one I stamped it using the same technique I described above.
The sentiment strip was made using a coral scalloped base, and onto that I glued a strip of double sided tape that I attached rows of twine to. On top of that I added a strip of rustic cream card stock that I stamped my sentiment on to and added some distressing with vintage photo :) I finished it all of with some twine and a button.
Anyway... that's all from me folks. I will try and post a few more cards in the coming days :)
Later maters

Moxie Fab Thanks! Blog Hop
Happy Saturday People :) You should be thoroughly inspired by now... You've hopped a LOOONG way to get here. I sure do wish I could offer you a beverage and some cookies, but I'm sure you've taken care of that already ;))
If you are hopping in order, you should have arrived here from THE one and only Betsy Veldman.
By now you know the purpose of this hop, and how bitter sweet it is. I am so happy to be apart of this momentous blog hop, and to be able to let Cath know just how much she she means to all of us and how dearly we will miss her. We have all appreciated all inspiration she has provided us over the years.
I am not really good with this sort of thing, farewells and such, but I would like to share a favorite quote of mine that I have already shared with Cath, on her blog. It really says so much in so few words. It's from the Movie Hope floats:
“Beginnings are usually scary, endings are usually sad, but it's what's in the middle that counts. So when you find yourself at the beginning, just give hope a chance to float up. And it will.”
It was pinned to the "all that glitters is gold" board, and let me just tell you how in LOVE I am with gold at the moment, he,he ;)
Here's my card:
I started by water coloring the background. Next, I stamped the polka dots using a glue pad. I then rubbed gold leaf onto the dots. Can I just say... it looks AMAZING! in real life. I have tried to find an embossing powder that would give me that "real gold" look, but have yet to find one. So this is perfect. I love that it looks like a patterned paper and not like I made it, ha,ha!
Well, friends, the time has come for you to move on, and so without further ado, I will send you on over to the lovely Wanda Cullen.
Have fun :)

Cath, I wish you well, I wish you sunshine and rainbows. May this be the beginning of something even better for you. May you look back on this and know that it was always meant to lead you to your "next big thing".
I thought long and hard about what I wanted to make and I decided it would be a really cool idea to look through Cath's Pintrest boards and pick an image to inspire my card. At first I thought I was so smart.... but since there are so many amazing pins, I was so overwhelmed! I have about 6 unfinished cards on my desk and about 100 other ideas, it was inspiration overload, lol!
In the end I went with this pin:

Runnway inspired entry
Hello there :)
It's been a while. It seems I either have had no mojo when I have had time to make something, and no time or energy when I have the mojo going, lol!
BUT I finally got all the stars to align and as soon as I saw the inspiration photo for this weeks Runway inspired challenge, I was in LOVE! I knew exactly what I wanted to make. It took a few tries but I LOVE the way it turned out. I just realllly wish I could get my photography situation sorted out so that I could take better pics. Anyway.... Let's move on shall we?
Here is this weeks photo:
And here is my card:
I started by creating the striped panel with copic markers, I just varied the colors and widths according to the inspiration photo. Next I die cut the white panel with the Lil inkers stitched mats, and stamped my sentiment. I stamped some flowers from an old hero arts set (Asian frames) colored them in with copics and cut them out. I then applied some Zig, Wink of stella clear glitter brush pen over both the flowers and striped panel. I applied a thin layer of glossy accents to the flowers and added some Preciosa crystals. I put everything together, and that was it!
Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to come back tomorrow.. I will be participating an a very, very large blog hop that I am sure is going to be loads of fun.
