Happy Bellarific Friday!

Today I have two cards to share.  I made one card for the challenge, then had another idea and decided to try that too.  I'll post them both and let you decide which one you like best :)
Firstly, here is the sketch:
Now, here is card #1:
Ok, buckle up, it's gonna be a LOONG one. :) Lots of techniques.
I started with the blue middle piece. I used copics to create a graded color BG.  Next I stamped the scribble garden stamp on top in black versamark ink. I distressed the edges with the Tim holtz distresser and added distress inks in tea dye and vintage photo.    I then stamped the image again on a plain white piece of bella's best paper. I colored that one in with copics and them added crackle accents to the flowers.  I distressed the edges again with  tea dye and vintage photo.  I layered the two pieces together.  For the base I stamped the polkadot  inkblock  on to  kraft card stock and distressed the edges with vintage photo ink.  I popped the main image onto the base with dimensional tape.

Now for card #2:
For this one, I used the same coloring technique with copics for the BG piece as I did in the first one.  Next I masked off the edges and stamped the Dandelion wisps stamp with versa mark ink. I then made a frame with chocolate card stock and embossed it with a woodgrain folder.  I stitched some twine to the corners and added a button.  I then layered the pieces on to a chocolate base.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had fun.
Next weeks challenge is all about flowers! ( my favorite!!)  I hope you can find some time to play along :)

  2. Tasha I really like both cards - the curled edges and layers on the first are brilliant and I really like the window effect on the second card
