Hello there:)
So, as I said in my post yesterday, I am hoping to spend more time this year creating and sharing. Today I thought I would share a card I made for the July/August Paper Crafts Magazine submission call that was not accepted. I did get one card picked up that I LOVED ( I don't usually LOVE many of my cards.). So I am very excited to see it in print.
Moving along then... This card was based on the second sketch.
I heat embossed the dots and flowers background stamp onto white watercolor paper with silver embossing powder. I then colored it in with distress stains and sprayed it with pearl water. Once it was dry, I chopped it into quarters and mounted each piece onto terracotta tile matte. I adhered the pieces to a cream card base with foam tape and added some silver brads to the corners. I die cut the sentiment frame and heat embossed it with clear powder. I also heat embossed the sentiment with silver powder.
Thanks for stopping by :)
