PPP watercolor hop

Good Morning!
Boy it has been ages since my last post.  Not that I have not been making cards. I have been super busy with lots of crafty projects. Hopefully I will share them in the next few days.
But for today I am here to share a card for the Pretty pink Posh watercolor card blog hop.

This card was inspired by this pin I found on Pinterest:

I just loved the colors and contrast of the black and ivory with the bright colors.

I Started by stamping and heat embossing the flowers and border from Atlenews 'Floral motifs' and 'Henna Elements' stamp sets on to Strathmore 140LB watercolor paper.  I used Gansai Tambi watercolor paints to color it all in. Next I ironed off the embossing and stamped my sentiment using black Momento tuxedo black ink. This was then foam mounted on to the background panel. The background uses  MFT's  'Pin stripe' background stamp that is heat embossed onto black card stock with wow silver pearl EP.   To finish this card off I added some rain dots and mounted it onto a Gina k 120LB white card base.

I hope you enjoyed your visit.
Thanks for stopping by.
Natasha :)

    1. Thank you for your comment :) to answer your question, you simply use a normal iron to remove the embossing powder. I put my panel in between two sheets of copy paper. The heat melts the EP and it gets adsorbed by the copy paper, so you don't have any raised edges. HTH. 😃

  3. STUNNING! I love how you interpreted that gorgeous fabric. I'm coming over for a lesson. So far I just watercolour blobs and then die cut. Fun, but not as pretty as this!
